In 12 December 2011 the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon left for an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.

During the visit the head of the republic shall hold meetings with the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Christian Wulff, Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, leadership of the Parliament (Bundestag) and other high-ranking officials of Germany.

Within the framework of the visit the signing of a number of cooperation documents, holding business forum, opening of a new building of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Germany, as well as the meeting of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon with Tajiks and compatriots, living in FRG, has been planned. The program of the visit also provides for the acquaintance with the activity of big companies "Siemens" and "Bosch".

During his trip the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hamrokhon Zarifi, State Counsellor of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Foreign Policy Erkin Rakhmatulloev, Minister of Energy and Industry Gul Sherali, Minister of Health Nusratullo Salimov, Chairman of State Committee on Investments and State Property Management Davlatali Saidov and the Head of Chief Department of Geology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim.
