Tajikistan joined World Trade Organization

       On December 10, 2012 an important, historic event occurred in political and economic life of the independent Tajikistan. The Republic of Tajikistan has officially been admitted to the membership of the World Trade Organization at the session of the WTO General Council held in Geneva of Swiss Confederation.
         Official delegation of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by the President of the country Emomali Rahmon took part in the meeting.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Hamrokhon Zarifi has presented the readers with a book titled “The Tajik Golden Heritage” which has gathered the unique exemplars of Tajiks arts and crafts from the most ancient times to the present.

On January 17th of this year at the Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress in Washington DC, with the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the United States of America the joint event on presentation of “The Tajik Golden Heritage” book, which is published by the Minister of foreign affairs of Tajikistan Mr. H. Zarifi, took place.
